Outreach Education
Welcome to Med Evac’s Outreach Education page! Med Evac offers CME and CEU’s as a service to your department and facility. We have critical care nurses, paramedics, and physicians who can provide a variety of educational lectures and skills sessions. Our presentations can be as short as one hour, or as long as an initial AHA certification course. Med Evac can provide equipment for training, or we can train with your equipment to allow for ongoing staff competency and confidence. On the “Request a Class” page, we list some of the courses we teach. We are also happy to create a lecture or presentation specifically for you, with advanced notice.
Med Evac can also provide AHA courses through the Colorado Advanced Life Support training group, with our own set of instructors. BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses, both initial and renewal, are provided at the cost of the card. We can come to your fire department, ambulance station, or facility to teach your staff.
Med Evac is an approved training group recognized by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to provide CME hours for EMS Providers. Banner Health Western Region is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and as an individual activity provider by the Colorado Nurses Association (CNA).
